Freightserve recruitment are looking for a Export Agent to work a permanent night shift. The company is based in the Heathrow area.


Job Description:


  • Reporting to the Night Manager, this person will be responsible for successfully supporting Export functions.
  • Manage the receipt of all outbound files from Customer Services on a daily basis to ensure that shipments are processed and dispatch to the airlines to meet the respective cut off times
  • Create Mawb's
  • Create export entries
  • Provide clear and accurate information regarding the handling of the shipments especially when shipments are delayed
  • Communicate with Customer Services and Transport in regards to the collection of shipments back to the office
  • Communicate with Overseas agents
  • Communicate with airlines and handling facilities.
  • Exports primary function is to gather the information required to export the shipment so that the transit time can be achieved
  • Post flight and trace investigations to improve export service. Obtain handling reports and refunds where appropriate.
Working a permanent Monday - Friday 6pm - 3am shift.

Salary:
£28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year

  • Export Freight or Courier: 1 year (required)
