Formed in 2003, City Gate Construction (CGC) specialise in construction, refurbishment, fabrication, mechanical and electrical services, new build housing, bespoke joinery, maintenance and regeneration.


With its Head Office in Linwood, CGC employs more than 225 people, with six UK offices, most recently opening premises in Birmingham.

Providing a bespoke service across a range of industries, CGC continues to secure major contracts from housing associations, exclusive private developers, and local authorities.


Since its formation, CGC has recruited around 180 Renfrewshire residents and despite the pandemic, CGC has experienced continued growth, boosting an annual turnover this year in excess of £30m.

You could be part of this remarkable and talented team as we continue to grow.

Currently, we are looking to hire someone to take the role of Finance Assistant.

We are looking for someone to:

  • Complete payroll admin tasks for our staff.
  • Check Holiday use and enter timesheets into the system for payment
  • Chase debtor debt to bring cash into the business
  • Complete daily treasury reconciliation
  • Answer telephone call for the business and take orders from jobs if buyers are not available
  • Process subcontractor, purchase ledger invoices, and assist the other members of the team


We are ideally looking for someone with a strong finance assistant background, experience in a construction would be preferred but not essential.


Salary:
£22,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
