We are looking for a
Team Administrator to join our Safeguarding Children Unit within our Child Protection Team.

Working within our Safeguarding Children Unit, you will play an integral part in the day to day running of the department.

This is a position with lots of variety that is open to
part-remote working, so if you're someone who loves to learn new skills and can be adaptable to changing processes, this could be the role for you


About the Role
The Children, Families and Lifelong Learning Directorate provides a range of specialist services to children and young people. Much of this work requires closer working with key stakeholders (parents/ carers, schools, health services, police & voluntary organisations).


In this role you will organise multiagency meetings on behalf of the Safeguarding Children Unit and build relationships and liaise with professionals within safeguarding, social care and in other agencies.

You will have the responsibility of keeping track of, sometimes highly confidential, information relating to our residents and using this information to update and maintain accurate spreadsheets and databases.


Additionally, you will help co-ordinate meeting invitation with timescales and deadlines in mind, being flexible enough to accommodate for changes and requests from those who will be attending the meeting.


About You
The skills, experiences and knowledge we are looking for in our next
Team Administrator are:

  • Prior experience of work in administration within an office environment, working with highly confidential information.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills that will help you uphold a high standard of customer service.
  • Confidence working as part of a team but also possessing the initiative to work independently and meet changing deadlines.
  • Excellent organisational skills with an ability to adapt and develop to meet the changing needs of the team and the service
  • Please outline your administration experience.
  • Note taking support to meetings can be a part of this role. Please give evidence, with examples, of your laptop note taking experience.
  • Please describe, and give examples, of how you maintain good customer service.
  • Please list the skills and any qualifications you have that are relevant to this job.
  • Evidence, with examples, of working with competing priorities to meet tight deadlines.
