Description
Management of the Warehouse with the primary focus of steel sales and customer care.

Handle Existing customers orders, selecting material using picking lists.

Cut material as required with a cold cut Bandsaw.

Hold a current Forklift license up to 7 tonne

Bundle the material as necessary and load onto the company lorries or the customers vehicle using a forklift

Develop relationships and contacts at all levels

Carry out stock checks on materials

Minimise wastage by cutting from the smallest viable section size

Influence stocking levels and product range to incorporate all customer requirements with mínimal stock carried.

Ensure positive working relationships with the operational, transport teams, accounts department and support other divisions within the company as required

Build an extended network of contacts inside and outside of the group.

Demonstrate credibility by consistent and honest behaviour, both towards the business and people.

Maintain a tidy work environment

Execute any other relevant tasks as deemed necessary

Salary starting at £25,000.00 dependant on experience.

Experience:

- steel Stockholding: 1 year (preferred)

  • Warehouse management: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
