Finance Manager (Manufacturing) Antrim

£50,000 - £55,000 Permanent & full Time


Reed finance is partnered with a hugely successful business in County Antrim, in the appointment of an experienced
Finance Manager from a manufacturing background.


This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing organisation that can provide an amazing platform for driven individuals, who want to be at the top of the industry globally.


Working closely with the company directors, this is a fast-paced and comprehensive role involving management accounts, budgeting, forecasting & grants claims, but also day to day transactional/bookkeeping work.


  • Preparation of monthly management accounts and accounts pack
  • Reconciliation of Balance Sheet Accounts
  • Preparation of Statutory Accounts in line with IFRS standard
  • Production of budgets and quarterly forecasts
  • VAT and Intrastat Returns
  • Credit control management
  • Payroll processing monthly/weekly
  • Sales ledgers & purchase ledgers management
  • Matching receipts and reconciling GRNI accruals each month
  • Preparing monthly journal entries as needed
  • Legislative requirements in all forms, annual cashflow planning & management,
  • Variance analysis
  • Group consolidation
  • General ledger maintenance and bank reconciliations
  • Financial reporting & Statutory accounts
  • Internal & external audit responsibilities
  • Intercompany reconciliation
  • Identifying opportunities for business improvement and issues and implementing change
  • Managing grant claims (Invest NI, Innovate UK, etc.)

Criteria:


Preferably you will be a professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), however part-qualified will also be considered with significant management accounting experience.

You will ideally have third level education in an accountancy or business-related field.

You will offer excellent IT knowledge & full versatility in accounts & payroll packages (e.g., SAP).

You will need previous experience of operating within a medium to large organisation
with manufacturing experience.
It is essential that you have experience in grant claims (Invest NI, Innovate UK, etc.)


It is also essential that you have experience of producing management accounts including full profit and loss, cash flow and balance sheet reviews together with experienced in external and internal audit.
