About the team
The Transfers team is responsible for the movement of client's existing portfolios into Platform Securities' custody and also the smooth exit out of Platform Securities' custody.
The process is managed via a workflow with daily measured targets, which seekto transfer assets as quickly as possible to aid the client experience.
Transfers are often the first insight into a client's experience with their Wealth Manager and so speed, accuracy, communication and customer service are vital at all stages.
What you will be doing
Reporting to the Head of Business Processing Operations, the Client Data Management Team Manager will be focused on achieving Client SLAs through effective capacity planning, workload management and efficiency reviews, whilst fostering a right first-time cultureand delivering a positive client experience.
The successful applicant will have experience organising and managing a fast-paced Team, achieving operational SLAs, possess a passion to deliver excellent customer service and will be a strong leader, able to motivate,coach and manage performance to get the best from the Team.
The successful applicant will also have a proven ability to strengthen processes ensuring they are efficient and minimise risk to the Company.
Key Responsibilities of the role include:
- Responsible for overseeing the accurate transfer of the client's portfolio(s), exceeding client expectations at every step.
- Responsible for the team workload planning & prioritisation in a high pressured, fast paced environment.
- You will be looking to optimise efficiency whilst ensuring that continuous improvements are made in a highrisk environment.
- Drive the development of your team through regular coaching & mentoring, including 121s and quarterly appraisal review.
- Chairing regular conference calls with clients to discuss the progression of ongoing transfers.
- Providing escalation support for more complex, technical business queries.
- Establish, manage and develop the best possible team, leading in line with Platform Securities guiding principles creating a unique and inclusive culture of honesty, transparency, trust and collaboration.
- Drive the development of your team through regular coaching & mentoring, including 121s and quarterly appraisal review.
- Own & team workload planning & prioritisation in a high pressured, fast paced environment.

Added bonus if you have:
- Previous experience of Transfers desirable
- An understanding of the Wealth Management or Financial industry and associated regulations.
- Educated to degree level or equivalent
