As an Engagement Worker with Change Grow Live you'll work with people who use our services, helping them get to where they want to be.

With this role you'll be working as part of CGL Nottinghamshire integrated substance misuse service.

The team supports people with their or their loved ones who have drug and or alcohol issues.

No two days are the same and we treat every person who comes into our service as an individual, so being flexible, curious and a good listener are key.

Responsibilities:

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Nottinghamshire Integrated Recovery Service, for the role of Engagement Worker within the recently established Aftercare team.

The successful applicant will have knowledge and experience of group work delivery and working within substance misuse services.

They will require excellent communication and engagement skills, and will deliver a range of interventions including, assessments, and recovery plans, also delivering structured group work interventions and outreach support.

Enabling and empowering service users to build their own Recovery Capital, and support them into long term sustained recovery and social (re)integration.

They will be committed to taking a positive, holistic and empowering approach to support adult service users entering into and moving through integrated recovery-oriented substance misuse services.

Increasing opportunities for service users, enabling them to achieve and sustain positive change.

The post holder will be required to work flexibly across operational sites, including Worksop, Mansfield and Nottingham as required and work flexibly within an agreed number of hours to maintain the most appropriate level of service provision.

This may include evening and weekend working.
