We are currently recruiting for a Works Supervisor to work in Nottingham to more than 10,000 homes

Lead your team to deliver right first-time repairs with excellent customer service, liaising with our dedicated planning and customer service staff as well as maintaining relationships with client-side services to help us all remain compliant.

Previous supervisory or management experience will be essential for you to succeed in this customer facing role, you will be responsible for a team of directly employed trade staff, working remotely across the East Midlands.

You will survey, plan, schedule, coordinate & post inspect work streams whilst liaising with internal and external stake holders.

What you'll need to succeed

Experience and ability to manage Health and Safety in a social housing repairs environment.
Good knowledge of repairs and maintenance in a social housing environment.
A track record in supervising trade staff teams.
A full driving licence is required

A van & fuel card are provided

Overall Responsibility:

Undertake carpentry and repairs and maintenance work, including fire door maintenance installations and remedials (upgrades), to provide high quality, 'right first time',
cost effective building services to the business and its customers
Adhere to Safety, Health and Environment Policy at all times
Key Responsibilities and Outcomes

Undertake prestart risk assessments
Visual inspection of tools and equipment to determine if fit for purpose
Cooperate with your line manager and comply with mandatory procedures
Notify your supervisor of issues relating to access, operations, and van stocks
Ensure you comply with company policy, follow the Highway Code and exercise due care and attention when driving a company vehicle
