Senior Finance Officer:
Permanent, Full or Part Time.


Hours:
By negotiation up to 37 hours per week.


Paid Weeks: 52 weeks per year

Annualised hours contract, the majority of which will be worked during term time and due to the nature of the establishment annual leave must be taken during school holidays.

Salary Scale:

Grade 8, points 12-20 £26,421 - £30,296 PA (Full Time Equivalent - Pay Award pending)*****Compass Learning Centre is looking to appoint a highly motivated and energetic Senior Finance Officer to work with the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team to ensure proper control and planning of the school's finances.


This is an exciting opportunity for a finance management professional who is looking for a new challenge and a career in education finance.


  • Are confident and work well as part of a team;
  • Are highly organised and have the ability to work under pressure in order to meet deadlines;
  • Are able to present data and information on the school budget and finances to Governors and senior staff;
  • Have experience of strategic financial management / planning.
  • Can contribute at Governor and leadership meetings
  • Are able to work on their own initiative with excellent literacy, numeracy and IT skills, and willingness to work flexibly

The pro rata salary shown is based on the number of hours and weeks worked and includes appropriate paid annual leave and bank holiday entitlements.

The salary quoted is the annual salary for the position at the time of advert.

The salary will be paid in equal monthly instalments and will be adjusted at the start of employment and again if leaving part way through the school year to ensure the correct salary is received for the work completed in an academic year.


This role is UK based and your Right to Work will need to be established as part of the appointment process.
