As a Barclays Operational Risk Reporting Manager, you will have an exciting chance to support the Reporting Transformation and Data Visualization Team Lead in delivering a high-quality Data Visualization strategy across the Operational Risk function, usingthe Tableau reporting tool.

The team you will be joining is a part of the Risk function.

It owns and manages Barclays' Operational Risk Framework, which sets out how operational risks are identified, assessed, and managed across the Group.

Working Flexibly

What will you be doing?:


  • Helping the Data Visualization lead in rolling out and embedding our Data Visualization strategy, tools and dashboards across the OR function
  • Partnering with our business stakeholders to fully understand their data, reporting and visualization needs
  • Translating our stakeholder needs into clear use cases, define into robust user stories, completing impact assessment, building into pipeline and plan for delivery
  • Performing accurate testing of reporting solutions and working to manage defects through to a successful resolution
  • Delivering Tableau training to the broader user community
  • Designing, building and maintaining Tableau Dashboards within expected timeframes
  • Managing a portfolio of dashboards, visualisations and data sources, and the continuous improvement of these
  • Proactively consulting and engaging with multiple stakeholders and gaining buyin to ideas and approaches

What we're looking for:


  • Experience of designing, developing, and implementing dashboards and data visualisation solutions
  • A proven track record of working closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements, being able to challenge without being confrontational
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with ability to clearly articulate to stakeholders

Skills that will help you in the role:

  • Awareness and knowledge of Barclays Enterprise Risk Management Framework, Operational Risk Management Framework and the Operational Risk & Controls System
  • Experience of Agile methodologies and principles
  • Experience of working with new and emerging reporting technologies with a focus on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to deliver predictive analytics
  • An awareness of Barclays and its internal structures

Where will you be working?
You will be based in Radbroke, Knutsford.

The Barclays Technology Campus just outside Manchester is our tech command centre and a vital strategic powerhouse behind our global operations.

The campus is set in a 64 acre self-contained site, in a beautiful greenenvironment and it offers unrivalled facilities for work and for play.
