A Central London based Entertainment company are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Assistant to join them on a 6 month contract


Reporting directly into the AP Manager, this role will support the purchase ledger team and will be responsible for inputting, processing and reconciling purchase invoices.


The Duties:

  • Entering and checking invoices for accuracy and matching against POs
  • Setting up new supplier accounts, updating records and maintaining contact with suppliers for updates
  • Helping to set up the weekly payment runs
  • Maintaining a great relationship with suppliers and answering any of their queries
  • Escalating any queries to AP Manager where necessary
  • Previous experience working within payables
  • Able to prioritise a very busy workload and strong time management skills
  • Previous experience using excel and financial systems knowledge
  • A strong communicator
  • An interest in the industry would be great
