Mitie created its newest division within Mitie Technical Services, Mitie Telecoms, in August 2021 when it acquired DAEL Ventures UK and joined it with their existing Cornerstone Facilities Management group.

This has enabled the creation of a complete cell site service provider.

Mitie Telecoms are now leading providers of acquisition, design and construction (ADC) services, specialist managed services of temporary mobile infrastructure, and facilities maintenance for telecoms.

The teams design, installation and maintenance experience coupled with Mitie's leading technology and scale has created a new force in telecoms and numerous exciting opportunities to be part of a growing organisation.

To help facilitate this continued growth and meet demand we are looking for a Design Authority to join the team.

You will create design guidelines for each project, whilst attending customer meetings and representing the company as best in class.

We are also looking for an individual who can integrate well with the team and contribute to better ways of working.

The role can be based at any of our main offices located throughout the UK and is open to agile working.

_ What are the key duties & responsibilities?_
The Design Authority will receive, log, read and understand customer design specifications. Completing gap analysis on the specifications, whilst creating and managing design guidelines for each project.

You will be responsible for checking CAD output for quality, holding regular meetings with engineers and CAD to guide on specifications, ensuring the company is working within customer design parameters.

You will have the skills and experience to maintain internal project and financial databases and tools, along with data in customers databases and tools.

Whilst at all times manage the customer relationships to ensure continuity of work.

_ What are we looking for?_

You will have 5 years relevant experience within a similar role, be commercially and financially aware with good interpersonal skills.

You are someone who is adaptable to new environments and challenges at short notice whilst being pragmatic and determined, with a willingness to learn new skills.
