JOB OVERVIEW
Study Group are looking for a Business Partner for Learning Experience to join our team.

In this role you will act as a trusted advisor on all financial matters for specified business line(s) in Study Group, working closely with Senior Leaders to provide FP&A support, data and insights which drive improved business performance and add value to financial decision-making.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as the key access point for the partners within their business line into Finance and play the role of trusted advisor for partners, leveraging the wider Finance function to ensure standardisation, efficiency and effectiveness of interactions between the business and Finance.
  • Report to the business to keep stakeholders well informed of performance relative to budget and targets.
  • Contribute to the business case financial evaluation.
  • Provide decision support on all aspects of financial decisionmaking in their business line, assisting stakeholders to identify and implement changes that will drive improved business and KPI outcomes.
  • Track current sales pipeline and ensure the accuracy of revenue forecasts
  • Ensure awareness of and incorporate benchmarking and best practices from across the portfolio.
  • Manage relationships with stakeholders allocated business lines, as well as across the business with the Global People Experience, IT and Finance teams.
  • Lead the delivery of a timely, accurate and effective monthly rolling forecast process for the business line, incorporating the annual budget.
  • Ensure the delivery and quality of analysis, reports, benchmarking, KPI identification and measurement, and historical trends to the business in order to enable proactive decisionmaking.
  • Provide commercial support in the preparation of reporting and operational presentations to the Group Finance and Learning Experience Leadership Team.
  • Continuous improvement identify and implement improvements to the planning process in striving towards best practice.
  • Assist in managing the relationship with respect to financial matters with partner universities.
  • Accountable for the preparation and communication of highquality and timely management accounts, including variance analysis and communication with stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the financial control team to validate the actual numbers reported.
  • Support the preparation of KPI reporting for monthly reports, and work closely with the Financial Analysis CoE team to ensure they are providing accurate data/analysis.
  • Support the Financial Analysis CoE to design and implement enhanced reporting processes which will provide greater efficiency across the Global Finance function.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Qualified accountant preferred
  • An experienced Finance Business Partner who has worked with senior stakeholders in a complex, preferably matrix organisation.
  • Track record of collating, analysing and sharing both financial and nonfinancial information to support business decisionmaking.
  • Experience working with analytical tools such as Adaptiv, PowerBI
  • Previous experience working in the Finance model which has businessfacing roles supported by Finance Centres of Excellence/Shared Services teams.
