A leading estates company are looking foran IT Helpdesk Support person to join their small team and assist with hardware builds, software installations and other day to day support

  • Starting ASAP

Responsibilities:


  • Assist, support, administer and maintain all desktop IT and some network and infrastructure hardware and software triaging, diagnosing and resolving any issues, and involving 3rd parties where necessary
  • Triage, administer and resolve IT Helpdesk queries and issues, closing out within agreed service standards and reporting performance
  • Configure/build/test hardware (workstations)
  • Monitor system network reporting and escalating issues where appropriate
  • Liaise with IT support organisations and suppliers for equipment and licence ordering and management
  • Review, manage and maintain printer fleet and resolve print related issues
  • Manage and maintain telephone and mobile communication equipment and resolve all related issues.
  • Maintain the IT integration of all other electronic devices
  • Support the setting up users on domains, printer setups, hardware builds/installations and IP networking
  • Install, configure and troubleshoot the Microsoft suite of products, specifically Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Terminal Services, Microsoft Desktop, Windows Server/Exchange experience, Microsoft operating systems and MS Office
  • Manage, plan and perform the IT and telecommunication elements of businessdriven office moves and reorganisations

Required Skills / Competencies:


  • Experience with construction related software (Autodesk) desirable
  • Proven experience of IT Support within an office environment
  • Excellent organisational and problemsolving skills
