A leading design and manufacturing business are currently recruiting for an Operations and Finance Director to join their board of directors, providing the vision, strategy and leadership to effectively and successfully drive the business alongside the SalesDirector.

The role is based out of their Head Office in Thetford.


Purpose of the role:

To take overall responsibility and control of Production, Supply Chain, Logistics,

Administration, Finance, HR and Health & Safety. Providing leadership and coaching to

the managers of each of these business functions. Thereby ensuring the business delivers

its strategic objectives, customer and operational goals, whilst maintaining profitable

growth and quality products delivered on-time to our customers satisfaction.

Liaise closely with the sales director to achieve a seamless one-company approach

throughout the business


Experience required:


  • A professional Finance qualification;
  • The gravitas to lead a fast growing and diverse enterprise;
  • Proven experience as a Finance Director with sound previous P&L
- responsibility in a similar business;

  • Demonstrable experience in developing and implementing strategic and
- business plans and growing business wealth;

  • Sound commercial awareness and negotiating ability;
  • The ability to navigate the business through ever changing industry
- regulation & legislation;

  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills;
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills;
  • Outstanding analytical and problemsolving abilities;
  • Strong project management skills;
  • Good commercial understanding and indepth knowledge of pricing,
- costing and operational delivery;

  • Experience in managing a diverse and busy team environment;
  • Proven track record in continually improving operational KPI's, developing
- management initiatives, change management and cost reduction;

  • Demonstrable understanding of management techniques, accreditations,
  • Lean Manufacturing, MRP, process and quality control.
