Responsibilities as a Clinical Lead:


  • Assisting the Home Manager and Deputy Manager in leading, motivating, and developing the staff team
  • Ensuring full compliance with CQC and Local authority regulations
  • Updating and assessing care plans
  • Providing clinical care to residents and setting a standard of excellence for other nurses
  • Supporting nursing and care staff on the floor
  • Managing medication administration and recordkeeping
  • Conducting assessments of Residents and developing individualized care plans
  • Administering medications and monitoring effectiveness
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team for comprehensive care
  • Monitoring Residents for changes in behavior or symptoms
  • Maintaining accurate and uptodate medical records
  • Indepth knowledge of mental healthrelated anatomy, physiology, and psychology
  • Strong assessment and diagnostic skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to provide compassionate care and support
  • Proficiency in administering medications and monitoring effects
  • Knowledge of therapeutic interventions and counseling techniques
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment

Requirements as a Clinical Lead:


  • 34 years of experience in senior nursing or clinical lead roles
  • NMC qualified RMN with a valid PIN
  • Friendly, patientoriented demeanor
  • Strong computer literacy and leadership skills
  • High level of clinical skills with attention to detail
  • Previous experience in a Nursing Home setting preferred
