Description

Working at Bower Grange, Alveley WV156JA and becoming part of our family run business to offer excellent standards of food and drinks for our residents.

To prepare home cooked meals and snacks for Residential home residents.

To work opposite shifts to other cook, providing nutritious, fortified hot and cold meals and snacks, dietician support available.

To order fresh food and other foodstuffs from suppliers.

To regularly monitor stock control.

To prepare meals as per the menus observing residents special dietary requirements.

To prepare nutritional food to a high standard.

To ensure timely and efficient cleaning of all dishes and utensils.

To maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and food storage areas.

To ensure Food Hygiene Regulations are adhered to. Safe working practices and procedures in accordance with Health and Safety Regulations.

To ensure all formal monitoring and recording of refridgerator, chiller, freezer temperatures in accordance with Environmental Health.

General duties, washing up, documentation, cooking, baking, alternate weekends
