Avid Personnel are proud to repersenting our Client in their search for a new Production Supervisor to join their team on a Permanent basis

  • Assist with the implementation of continuous improvement activities
  • Communicate effectively with customers and ensure delivery targets are met
  • Report breakdowns timely and ensure maintenance is planned to minimise downtime
  • Liaise with the supervision team to plan, prioritise and deliver on time
  • Troubleshoot daytoday issues that cause a loss of production
  • Assist with the coordination of all internal training and on job training
  • Communicate a daily handover
  • Ensure the time and attendance system is keep up to date
  • Ensure the factory is left secure at the end of each shift when necessary
  • Adhere to Healthy and Safety policy, procedures, PPE, safe working practices and carrying out accident investigations
Preferable Skills/Qualities

  • Able to motivate staff
  • Challenge and ensure maximum productivity
  • Minimise disruption and down time
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, customers and staff at all levels both verbally and written
Previous experience in a similar role IS required
Driving licence required

Monday - Thursday (7:45AM to 4:15PM)

Friday (7:45AM to 12:45PM)

£18.74 Per Hour

£18.74 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends only

Supplemental pay types:

  • Bonus scheme
