Are you passionate about providing individualized support to young learners in their formative years? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic 1:1 Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team in North Shields, Tyne and Wear.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Work closely with a specific child in the Early Years setting, providing tailored support to meet their individual needs and developmental milestones.
  • Assist the class teacher in creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment conducive to the holistic growth of the child.
  • Implement and adapt educational activities to cater to the unique learning styles and abilities of the assigned child.
  • Foster positive relationships with parents, keeping them informed about the child's progress and wellbeing.

Requirements:


  • Minimum of Level 2 or equivalent qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools is desirable.
  • Experience working with children in an educational setting, preferably in the Early Years Foundation Stage.
  • Knowledge of EYFS curriculum and the ability to support the child's development across all areas.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals.
