As a Team Leader you'll be responsible for leading and coaching a team of Designers to maximise output, productivity levels and customer satisfaction in line with business goals, through utilisation of the operational excellence framework and effective performance management.


_ What you'll be doing _:

Working Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm, each day you will lead by example, providing strong leadership and operational direction through direct feedback and coaching whilst motivating team members to ensure optimal performance.

Being focused and driven, you'll support your team to achieve performance targets and be relentless in achieving results ensuring that performance is managed effectively to meet SP Energy Networks objectives and to meet both internal and external customer expectations.

You'll be able to build excellent rapport through interfaces with internal / external customers through regular customer/supplier interface meetings and be experienced in managing all HR Policies and Procedures.

Supporting your team, you can ensure they are aware of and comply with Company Health, Safety and Environmental requirements and HR policies and update them on issues as they arise, working towards a zero-accident culture.

We will look for you to contribute to the development & delivery of the departmental Operating Plan, manage your team to deliver excellent customer service to all aspects of the department, actively promote and embed Operational Excellence (OPEX) by managing processes & quality initiatives, seeking opportunities to enhance process improvements.


_ What you'll bring _:


To join, we are looking for a dynamic Team leader who has a proven record of thriving in challenging, fast paced customer service role.

A key component of this role will be to lead by example, coach and manage a team to work effectively and efficiently, delivering high quality, accurate outputs first time.

As a credible, focused, and motivated individual we are looking for you to have detailed knowledge and experience of delivering outstanding customer service and supporting a team through coaching and call quality checks to meet targets set by the business.

You are a strong team leader who has experience of managing, coaching, and motivating a diverse team and can offer resilience, a proactive outlook, and motivation to your team.

You can prioritise your own and the team's workload daily by assessing key metrics to ensure targets are achieved and customer engagement and expectations are met at every stage of their enquiries and be able to deliver on vital weekly reporting to senior management.

Your knowledge and prior Team Leader experience will be supported by strong resource planning skills, ability to manage HR Procedures and the measuring of relevant Key Performance Indicators and targets.

An Electrical background is not required for this role, however, would be advantageous.
