About us
Mulkanwan is a traditional coffee shop based in Glasgow. We serve breakfast, lunch and afternoon takeaway.
We believe in the homemade taste of modern and classic Scottish favourites, all prepared and cooked right here in our premises daily.
We're in our 3rd year of business and so far have had great success, having just moved into a larger unit in recent weeks.
Mulkanwan is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Baristas/Cafe Assistants to join our team in our busy Glasgow coffee shop. Your duties will include taking food orders, greeting customers and providing high-quality customer service. This is a part-time position for 15-20 hours a week, with weekend and flexible weekday availability being essential. Previous barista and customer service experience is preferred, but full training will be provided.
In return we're offering you the opportunity to gain barista, food preparation and customer service skills amongst a supportive, tight knit team for a competitive hourly rate.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing and serve food to customers
- Preparing baristastandard beverages
- Handling cash and card payments
- Providing excellent customer service
- Maintaining uptodate knowledge of our latest menu additions and daily specials
- Maintaining high standards of store and kitchen cleanliness.

- Barista experience: 1 year (preferred)
