Our client has
an exciting opportunity for a M&E Data Centre Supervisor
to join their high performing team in London.
You will join them on a full time, permanent basis
and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of up to £48,000 per annum excellent benefits (travel allowance, bonus, 25 days of holidays, Pension, optional health insurance, life assurance, income protection).

M&E Data Centre Supervisor workinghours**:Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm

In the UK their Docklands data centre campus facilitates the majority of the London Internet Exchange's (LINX) capacity, meaning that they support a huge proportion of all UK internet traffic, making their Docklands campus a globally important internet hub.


Key tasks of theirM&E Data Centre Supervisor
include**:

  • Assisting in the development and execution of engineering works relating to M&E installed base
  • Coordination/Liaison with contractors for maintenance, reactive works and projects
  • Responsible for reviewing of risk assessments and method statements
  • Supervising small works installation and building maintenance works, organising and assessing the work of contractors
  • Assist in ensuring site working practices are being upheld for the following:
  • Permit for Access, Hot working, Fire system isolation/operation, Permit for cable installation access, Contractors signing in procedures, Responsible for signing off of completed works by maintenance contractors or others as necessary, Responsible for checking quality of maintenance, etc. Reviewing and approving all Risk Assessments and Method Statements presented to the Operations department
  • Acting as point of reference for completion and final acceptance of works
  • Ensuring that all O&M data is correctly recorded, filed and kept up to date, assist in carrying out audits and condition surveys, programme for works including cost estimates and works programmes. Ensuring that clients are properly advised of statutory obligations
  • Assisting in ensuring that maintenance of building systems meets legislative and health and safety requirements
  • Assisting in overseeing and supervising the installation of building systems and specifying maintenance and operating procedures
  • Being responsible for the budget management and financial control of works within remit
