Meraki Talent's industry leading Financial Services client are looking for a Marketing Compliance Manager to join a growing team. The Compliance Marketing/Financial Promotions professional will have regulatory experience (FCA/ASA) in financial servicesand promotional channels including above the line, digital and traditional marketing

Responsibilities of the Position:

  • Develop new and existing marketing campaigns in order to achieve commercial objectives through effective, compliant solutions.
  • Compliance review of marketing materials, limited partner communications, website reviews and other adhoc advertising materials to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements
  • Develop risk and control assessment reporting procedures
  • Work with business managers to improve control effectiveness and agree any action required
  • Providing the first line of defence function in the Marketing department and establishing a collaborative, effective way of working
  • Approving material in line with relevant FCA Handbook and ASA Code requirements, specifically on Marketing and Financial Promotions, Treating Customers Fairly principles and Conduct rules.
  • Interpret new regulations, undertake impact assessments and advise/support the business with implementation
  • Supporting the Head of Marketing in creating a programme for senior staff to ensure continued compliance with IDD.

Background of the Position:

  • Financial Promotions/Marketing Compliance Specialist experience essential
  • Up to date knowledge of FCA/ASA, in particular COBs and ICOBs regulatory compliance for financial promotions across all media, particularly digital
  • Experience of supporting the delivery of riskbased Risk and Compliance monitoring plans
  • Experience of delivering highquality outputs to a high level of consistency within a demanding environment
  • Experience presenting, interacting, and building effective relationships with professionals, including executive team.
  • Knowledge of Life, Pensions, Savings and pure protection products
