We're hiring for a Charity Shop Assistant Manager in Chipping Sodbury It's an exciting time to be part of the Brandon Charity Retail team as we look to open a new shop in the heart of Chipping Sodbury, South Gloucestershire.
We are a small retail chain with mighty ambitions and we're looking for Assistant Store Managers to be part of our success.
You will be part of a brand new team, helping us set up our new shop and make it one of the best on Chipping Sodbury High Street.
You'll play a key part in supporting the Shop Manager to provide revenue and raise awareness of Brandon in the community.
You will be instrumental in the managing the day-to-day running of the shop and deputising in the manager's absence.
Our shops exist to raise funds for the work of Brandon, create paid and unpaid employment opportunities for people with different abilities and promote sustainable living and pre-loved fashion.
You will:
- Be passionate about your local community and people with learning disabilities and autism?
- Have an interest in fashion.
- Have the ability to recognise stock potential to generate income as well as merchandise stock to it's best advantage
- Have the ability to make clear commercial decisions and analyse information.
- Have excellent customer service skills.
- Have good organisational skills

Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the shop manager to achieve income targets and sales
- Contributing to and actioning shop floor checks to maintain high standards.
- Supporting the shop manager in actively recruiting and training team members.
- In collaboration with the shop manager, you will collaborate / take the lead on agreed instore and external promotions.
