Salary Scale 2, Point 4-5 (£23,114 -£23,500 pa FTE)

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and organised Caretaker to support our Site Team.

To liaise closely and support the Campus Manager in his objective of ensuring the efficient and effective daytoday running, presentation and management of the School site, ensuring a warm, clean, safe and secure environment for all authorised users of the site and visitors.
To carry out daily Caretaker tasks, such as but not exhausted to, unlocking of the site, setting up of college activities, events, meetings and when necessary exams.
To have effective communication with other staff.
When necessary at the end of the day to ensure all buildings, doors and windows are secure, lights switched off, and security systems activated
To carry out minor repairs and maintenance tasks.
To carry out health and safety compliance checks on equipment and systems when required.
To be conversant with the Health and Safety Policies relevant to the post
To attend relevant health and safety training as provided by the school in order to carry out the duties of the post.
