1 x Reverse Logistics Operative - Full Time, Permanent

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off 18:00-06:00

Position Summary:


  • You will be a member of the team responsible for the reverse logistics operation. You will be required to work in all areas within the scope of the department (including vehicle wash, cardboard bailing, handling the food waste and GTW barrels and in all future projects relevant to the operation) for which full training will be given. You will ensure all work is carried out in a safe and efficient manner to DQMP standards and in accordance with the Food Hygiene and Health and Safety Legislation and within Company procedures. This is a high profile role responsible for supporting site accreditations and audits and for maintaining and enhancing the safety features and appearance of the DC

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

  • To ensure a safe working environment for yourself and all other employees / visitors / customers at ALL times
  • To ensure reverse logisitcs processes are carried out correctly and safely
  • To assist in improving reverse logistics procedures, working practices and working efficiencies
  • To work collaboratively with other departments as required
  • Be able to use a variety of MHE
  • Working at heights and some heavy lifting will be involved
  • To work to audit standards and have knowledge of and actively promote DQMP and Work Place Organisation standards
  • To complete all schedules in a timely manner and complete the associated paperwork
  • To ensure all recycling products within the DC are packed and loaded correctly for delivery to designated customers
  • Other duties as required

Required Skills and Experience:


  • 01 years of related experience
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as a team with mínimal supervision
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Strong Health and Safety focus
  • Flexible approach to work
  • Level 2 in English and Maths (or equivalent) (Essential)
  • Competent in

Microsoft Office:
Introduction Excel and Word (Essential)

  • Experience of MHE driving (Essential)
  • Previous hygiene experience and working in a physically demanding multitemperature FMCG environment (Desirable)
  • MEWP experience (Desirable)
  • Ability to meet deadlines and follow instructions
  • This position must pass a postoffer background
