    Your Purpose
  • We're now looking to recruit a Finance Business partner to join our brilliant Finance Team support out Supply Chain function in a Hbrid working role with two days per week in our Burton On Trent Head Office
    Key Responsibilities
  • The Finance Business Partner is responsible for providing high quality finance business partnering support to the direct procurement function and the wider Procurement Leadership team as well as the Franwell brewery operational team. Upweighting the finance support to include the consolidation and reporting of Supply Chain cost savings, tracked against Operations LRP targets.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide finance business partner support to the Procurement leadership team. Become an integral member of the leadership team and attending relevant leadership team meetings.
  • Ownership of key stock reporting and forecasting financial cycles including stock forecasting, short dated stock processes, stock revaluation/reporting and partnering the supply planning functions._
  • Reporting, analysis and forecasting of all direct material costs and performance across spend. Drive a cost and cash focus in Procurement ensuring suitable focus on driving PV benefits and exercising cash levers with suppliers.
  • Provide financial support to the cost savings process and lead the consolidation and reporting of cost savings.
  • Reporting, analysis and forecasting of inventory balances_
  • Full ownership of the forecasting process and associated meetings and presentations with relevant business partners adhering to the governance and cadence of the monthly planning and forecasting cycle for the whole business.
  • Responsibility and review of the period end close results, balance sheet reconciliations and any other reporting prepared by the GBS analyst team and overall financial control and governance over actuals reporting
  • Play the key role in the annual AOP setting exercise and tracking price variance, feeding into standard costs and preparing and presenting the financial impact of inflation on direct materials.
    About you
  • Strong technical ability to complete the period end close process, interogate systems, investiage variances and prepare commentary at a category level on overall movments, prepare/review balance sheet reconciliations and prepare/present reporting that clearly presents variances to budget/prior forecast.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills at all levels in an organisation with the ability to explain results and variances to senior, nonaccountant business partners
  • Demonstrates strong commercial acumen and uses experience, information and judgement to deliver results
