Exeter Hospital | Physiotherapy | Permanent Contract | Part Time

Up to £23,750.00 Pro Rata Depending on Experience

37.5 hours a week

To support the clinical team to deliver high quality patient care to our patients to optimise their post-operative recovery and wellbeing.


As our Physiotherapy Assistant you will:
Deliver high quality, effective clinical care under the supervision of our registered physiotherapists and nursing staff on the ward.

Promote multi-disciplinary working alongside therapy and nursing teams.

Ensure that all clinical records are accurately maintained and conform to all legal and regulatory requirements

Complete administrative duties, including scanning, booking appointments, billing, telephone work to support the Physiotherapy team.

Be responsible for reviewing and reporting stock level and supplies to ensure the clinical environment is fit for purpose.

Assist with cleaning of Physiotherapy equipment and infection prevention.


To succeed as a Physiotherapy Assistant, you will need:
NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Health and Social Care.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting, ideally in a health care support or therapy assistant role.

To be enthusiastic and motivated, working with your own initiative and a can-do attitude to work.

Highly organised and flexible.

Confident with IT
