The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity to join the Finance team has arisen to support continued business growth.

ECO operates a growing fleet of well over 200 vessels, ranging from tugs to specialised construction vessels.

The ability to design, build, own, and operate diverse, high-capacity and technologically superior vessels has made ECO an unrivalled leader in the maritime industry.

MPL manage European procurement activities for the ECO Group.

Working with our Engineering functions located in USA and Brazil, we develop and procure equipment and systems for shipbuilding projects.

We also support ECO Operations worldwide through the provision of spare parts and technical support.


MPL's primary objectives are to procure ECO approved capital equipment and spare parts that achieve the optimum level of performance, with minimum lifecycle costs, delivered on time.


The Role
Working within the Finance Team, the Accounts Assistants main responsibilities include:

  • Processing and issuing sales invoices to ECO Group companies
  • Processing purchase invoices whilst working with the Procurement Team and suppliers to ensure invoice queries are resolved in a timely manner
  • Assisting with preparation of payment runs whilst ensuring supplier invoices are paid on time

Key Skills/Experience

  • Previous experience working within a Finance Team
  • Experience working with financial or ERP systems, Microsoft Dynamics NAV desirable but not essential
  • Good IT skills and confident with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail whilst processing high volumes of invoices
  • Able to clearly communicate and have excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Enthusiastic and driven

Full Time, Permanent.

Hybrid, Monday, Wednesday and Friday office based.

Due to rural location of our office, own transport is essential.
