Autism Support Assistant - LS9


Are you the kind of person that would like to make a meaningful difference to the lives of children with Autism? If so, Milk Education are recruiting for a full-time Autism Support Worker to work with children aged between 3-19 year old on a full-time term time only basis.

Autism Support Assistant role & responsibilities:

  • Supporting the class teacher to deliver lessons
  • Helping the pupils regulate
  • Creating a fun and safe environment for the children to thrive
  • Assist with personal care

Autism Support Assistant Non-negotiables:


  • Must have recent and relevant experience working with children or adults with learning disabilities and/or Autism in an education or health and social care capacity
  • Be available Monday to Friday 08:30 15:30
  • Comfortable providing personal care
  • Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the classroom teacher
