Description

To provide a comprehensive, professional, confidential PA/secretarial and administrative service to the Department's Operational Service Manager (OSM), Deputy OSM and wider Senior Management Team providing appropriate administrative support as required, working across all of the Trust's locations as required.


To provide administrative support for all Business Unit governance related activities, ensuring smooth and efficient running of the Governance agenda.


To provide a comprehensive, confidential and professional PA / secretarial and administrative service to the OSM, Deputy OSM and Senior Leads in the Business Unit.


To develop, implement and maintain administrative systems which will ensure the efficient and effective running of the Business Unit and provide governance related assurance.

To respond professionally to any Business Unit enquiries during periods of absence of the OSM / Deputy OSM.

To support the Business Unit in ensuring compliance with a variety of governance related activities e.g. mandatory training, appraisal compliance, proactive sickness absence management, responses to complaints / Datix incidents / PALS feedback.


To arrange and attend formal and informal meetings at the request of the OSM / Deputy OSM providing formal minutes when required after the event.


To assist the Health & Safety Co-ordinator/s for Outpatients liaising with H & S representatives to produce required reports at Divisional meetings and for the H & S Trust Advisor.

Manage/prioritise own workload in a proactive manner.

Assist in process changes across the Business Unit as required.

To undertake any further tasks requested that are commensurate with grade of post.
