We value personality, discretion and empathy, combined with a balanced sense of humour. We arrange funerals for all religions and denominations as well as non-religious ceremonies or Civil Ceremonies.
Our mission is to provide the very highest standard of service and quality to the families we care for, 24 hours per day, 365 days of the year.
We are currently looking for a Funeral Director / Trainee Funeral Director to join our compassionate team on a full-time basis.

The Role
As the Funeral Director / Trainee Funeral Director, you will provide an exceptional standard of service to the families we care for.
With the support of our management team, you will arrange and oversee funerals for all religions and denominations, as well as non-religious ceremonies or civil ceremonies.
We support families during an incredibly difficult time in their lives, so compassion, a high level of professionalism and a flexible approach are essential.
Your duties will include:
- Supervising the funeral team during a funeral, including preparations.
- Ensuring the smooth running, tidiness and cleanliness of the workshop, mortuary and garage areas
- Acting as a driver/bearer
- Taking part in outofhours duties when required
About You
To join us as a Funeral Director / Trainee Funeral Director, you will need:
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- High levels of patience and the ability to work well under pressure
- A certificate or diploma in Funeral Service (or the willingness to study towards this)
- GCSEs (or equivalent), ideally including Maths and English
- A full driving licence

Working hours: 8:30am - 5pm, Monday - Friday (with some weekends and evenings as part of an on-call rota)Job Types:
