Are you passionate about enhancing a child or young person's everyday life?

Would you like to progress your career by working with children who require complex clinical care?

We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistants who can support our service user with his complex care needs.

Our service user is a teenage boy who lives in Loughborough with his family.

Throughout the day he really enjoys attending school, interacting, and socialising with his peers. At home he loves to watch his favourite programmes and listening to audio books.

Throughout the night your role will be to observe and attend to his complex care needs when required, Supporting with his personal care, and repositioning.

You will promote a restful environment, offering reassurance and nurture to promote a restful night's sleep.

He enjoys stories being read to him to soothe him back to sleep if he does become restless at night.

Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.

Essential Experience Required

3 months previous care experience
Medication Administration
Personal Care
Moving and Handling

Desirable Experience

Working with children and young people
Tracheostomy Care
Nebuliser Care
Oral suctioning
Seizure management

Shifts Available

Part time nights
10:00pm 7:30am
Week 1: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
Week 2: Thursday & Friday

Weeknights:
£13.50 per hour (£128.25 approx. per 9.5-hour shift)

Saturday:
£13.50 per hour (£128.25 approx. per 9.5-hour shift)

Sunday:
£14.00 per hour (£133 approx. per 9.5-hour shift)

Bank Holiday:
£15.00 per hour (£142.50 approx. per 9.5-hour shift)
