A catering assistant will be able to Performing basic food preparation tasks, which include washing, peeling, and cutting fruit and vegetables,, serve food to the customers and interact in the benefit of the company, be able to read and write and work on the tills.

To be successful as a catering assistant, you should demonstrate a sound knowledge of food health and safety regulations to ensure the safety of event guests.

Ultimately, an outstanding catering assistant should be able to demonstrate exceptional communication skills and achieve excellent customer service at all times.

  • Care about customer satisfaction and deliver the best client service experience
  • Serving guests in a friendly, welcoming and efficient manner while maintaining a clean and safe work environment
  • Help answer questions and make suggestions regarding food and beverage choices and related items
