This opportunity is in the solution design and development arena for
Agile Lead Scrum Master who will play a major role with the technical design and development of company's technical offerings.

The role is based at our Leicester office with occasional assignments at client locations


Job Description (Main Duties and Responsibilities):

  • Assessing the Scrum Maturity of the team and organization and coaching the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization.
  • Focused on increasing team efficiency, help with motivations, and argue for changes that will ensure quality and high performance.
  • Ensure the established processes are followed and constantly seek improvement. Ensures the DoD (Definition of done) is being followed correctly.
  • Assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information.
  • Responsible for monitoring the scrum processes and scrum ceremonies.
  • Guiding the team and organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values to delight customers.
  • Guiding the team on how to get the most out of selforganization.
  • Building a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis on healing and problemsolving.
  • Supporting and educating the Product Owner, especially on grooming and maintaining the product backlog.
  • Guiding the team on selforganizing to fill in the intentional gaps left in the Agile/Scrum frameworks.
  • Facilitating getting the work done without coercion, assigning, or dictating the work.
  • Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution.
  • Providing all support to the team using a servant leadership style whenever possible and leading by example.
  • Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to remove the impediment.
  • Experience leading one or more agile teams and can facilitate agile events and champion agile best practice, coaching and mentoring the team to ensure they gain the most benefit from their chosen framework.
  • Knowledge of other Agile approaches: XP, Kanban, Crystal, FDD, etc.
  • Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.
  • Knowledge of various welldocumented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach (example: numerous Burndown technologies, various Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc.).
  • Awareness and experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games.
  • Applicable knowledge of the technologies such as iOS, Android, Angular / Java

Qualifications:
bachelor's degree or above in the UK or Equivalent.


Salary:

GBP 35000 to 50000 per annum
