Location:
York (YO30) with hybrid working model (3 days in the office or out onsite with clients)

The opportunity:

We are looking for an established industry professional to help support the current team and expand the continuous growth of our current client base.

The primary aim of this role is to help businesses identify their eligibility for innovations relief (R&DTax Relief Scheme) and help to build and submit a claim to HMRC.

This role is client facing and requires someone to travel to meet with client where needed. Driving is essential**
Key tasks include:

Understand and translate the terms of the Innovations Relief/ R&D Tax Scheme to clients
Work closely with tax specialists and coordinators in the team to manage the project.
Manage a portfolio of clients, including interaction with clients and colleagues to ensure all deadlines (client & statutory) are met
Build fantastic relationships internally with Client and Relationship Managers and Directors across the business to ensure effective communication and standards are met

What are we looking for in a member of the team?

Experience and knowledge of the Tax Relief scheme is essential
Project management skills
Capability to translate complex theories into plain English
Exemplary communications, written and verbal
Fantastic team player and collaborator whilst still operating under their own steam.
