Miles Hire South Wales Ltd is seeking a Fitters only working up to 3 TON Machines to join our team in Cardiff.

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package.


Job Summary:

The primary responsibility of the Fitters is to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the pool, spa and water features.

This includes daily cleaning of all surfaces, equipment, and furnishings. The Fitters will also be responsible for maintaining pool equipment, including pumps, filters, and other related parts. The Fitters will be expected to work efficiently and effectively with mínimal supervision.


Responsibilities:

• Ensure all surfaces are clean and free of debris
• Perform daily maintenance on pool equipment, including regular replacement of filters, pumps, etc.
• Perform maintenance on spa equipment including regular replacement of jets, heaters, etc.
• Perform maintenance on water features including cleaning of the flooring and surroundings, general upkeep of the filtration system and replacement of all filters as needed.
• Perform regular replacements on filtration systems as needed (replacement service provided by Miles Hire South Wales Ltd).
• Perform regular replacements on filtration systems as needed (replacement service provided by Miles Hire South Wales Ltd).
• Ensure that all surfaces are clean and free of debris (as required).
• Maintain pool equipment including replacement as needed as needed (as required).
• Maintain pool chemicals including replacement as needed as needed (as required).
• Maintain pool pumps including replacement as needed as needed (as required).
• Maintain pool filters including replacement as needed as required (as required).
• Perform regular replacements on filtration systems as needed (replacement service provided by Miles Hire South Wales Ltd).
• Conduct regular inspections of pool and spa equipment to ensure that they are in working order and comply with specifications. Report any malfunction to the supervisor or manager in writing.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Knowledge of swimming pool equipment maintenance procedures. Knowledge of swimming pool chemistry is a plus but not required. Knowledge of how to install filters is preferred but not required. Knowledge of how to operate pump motors is preferred but not required. Knowledge of how to use pool chemicals is preferred but not required. Knowledge of how to operate pool plumbing such as draining, draining heads, etc., but not required.

£24,242.40-£24,897.60 per year
