    Description

    Small Veterinary Surgeon

    We are looking for a dedicated Small Veterinary Surgeon to join our team at Otter Vets.

    The ideal candidate will complete 1st opinion work, including small animal consults and surgical caseload. This may involve elements of sole charge, with opportunities for mentoring junior colleagues.

    If you prefer mixed or small animal/equine work, we welcome your application. We have flexibility in our roles and can discuss part-time hours, creating a rota that suits you.

    Our practice offers flexible shifts that prioritize work-life balance:

    1. Full-time vets typically work 10 hours across four days per week, with one weekend in four on call.
    2. We strive to accommodate your needs, so please ask about possible shift patterns.

    Otter Vets has a rich history of over 70 years, providing veterinary care to local communities. We have two branches: Sidmouth and Ottery St Mary, Devon.

    We participate in charity events and offer a 24-hour service for mixed veterinary work. Future plans aim to reorganize our premises, facilitating growth and development.
