De Montfort University (DMU) are looking to appoint a Junior Technical Analyst Apprentice to join the Information Technology and Media Services (ITMS) team.

The Apprenticeship Standard that will be delivered is the Level 3 IT Solutions Technician Apprenticeship.

Role


You will be part of a team of Technical Analysts supporting the endpoint services required to maintain an effective service to the university staff and students.

The Apprentice will be learning to assist with the operation, configuration, maintenance andsupport of the endpoint environment. Contribute with the process of image creation and deployment to labs and open spaces including software assessment and packaging.

Support the technologies in place to sustain the operation of the university endpoint estatewith a priority given to security and resilience.

You will have excellent team working, communication, organisational and customer service skills.

In addition, you must be a strong team and expected to be flexible and react quickly to changing priorities whilst maintaining a high level of customer serviceat all times.

This is a fixed term role for the duration of 16 months.
