The team provides a dedicated investment consultancy to investors across industrial, offices, retail and alternative markets, advising on acquisition and disposal.

The team is passionate about providing our clients with creative but practical solutions and options, working to create long-term, enduring relationships which will generate added value for our clients.

The Capital Markets team are dynamic and have a well-established presence in the North West and National Investment Market.

The team have advised on a number of the largest and highest profile transactions over the past decade, working across several sectors with a focus on industrial and office asset classes.

The North West team is fully integrated with the Gerald Eve National Capital Markets business.


Job Description:


This role will entail working alongside studying, completing a BSc in Real Estate via the University College of Estate Management (UCEM) under the Apprenticeship scheme.

You will be on a 5 day week contract, but one of these days will be dedicated to your studies.

Rather than attending formal lectures or classes, you'll study using UCEM's state-of-the-art online learning environment and digital library, supported with guidance from highly experienced tutors.


Upon completion of the BSc (Hons) Real Estate Management and the structured workplace learning you will undertake the RICS Assessment of Professional Competence leading to registration with the RICS as a Chartered Surveyor under the Commerical pathway.


If you are passionate about developing a Professional career in Property, and earning while you learn, this fantastic role is for you.

At the end of the programme you will be a Chartered Surveyor and a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

Main responsibilities

The role will involve working across the team assisting in all aspects of Capital Markets including:

  • Completing detailed financial analysis
  • Undertaking extensive property due diligence in support of investment acquisition and disposal instructions
  • Compiling availability and transaction schedules to track market activity
  • Market research and maintaining comparable databases
  • Managing and assisting in the relationship with key clients, inclusive of providing clear and concise reports and advice
  • Tracking key investment requirements
About you

  • IT skills, including highlevel Microsoft Word and Excel competencies
  • Organised, efficient, using initiative and working to tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, coupled with an eye for detail
  • A commitment to excellence and developing strong client relationships
  • Flexible and selfmotivated with a real desire to deliver excellent customer service
  • Positive attitude and willing to learn with and develop the team
