Permanent Full-Time Vacancy

Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week

Working hours are 8:30 - 17:00 or 8:00 - 16:30

33 Days holiday (including bank holidays)

Salary - £22-£24k

Route 1 is looking for a Customer Service Assistant who has a strong customer focus, is an analytical thinker, and is a team player for a Permanent vacancy with one of their reputable, well-established clients in LS9.


The objective of the role is processing and managing Customer orders received via E-mail and their website, ensuring orders are processed to meet the Customer's known requirements and meet the companies on time and in full targets.


The role in brief but not limited to:

  • Order processing
  • accurately process customer orders with relevant quantities prices and charges
  • Manage orders to meet Customers known requirements
  • Ensure orders are despatched on time and in full
  • Ensure customer queries, concerns, and complaints are answered and logged appropriately in the relevant database
  • Manage Customers expectations in a proactive manner and assist with their queries through to resolution
  • General Account Management duties.


Previous experience within a fast-paced Customer Service environment, confidence in dealing with people on the phone, the ability to multi-task, use of SD module with SAP, and knowledge of inputting and using Excel spreadsheets would also be an advantage but not essential.
