School Attendance Officer

Liverpool

Full Time

75 -95 per day

Lovely, interesting position for a School Attendance Officer to work with the Attendance team.


The ideal School Attendance Officer will have excellent communication skills, a positive approach to engage with pupils and their families.

You will have excellent administration skills to support the office and admin team. General office duties including documentation retrieval and filing, gathering information from pupils' records and progress reports. Gather information regarding attendancefor pupils and processing and preparation of reports.

Other duties will include answering the phone and dealing with pupils, families and visitors to the school office.

Identifying patterns of non-attendance of pupils, providing children and families support, home visits may be required if discussion at schoolis not possible.

Identifying the cause of poor attendance. Excellent communication skills with children to encourage them to return to school.

You will have a DBS on the update service and be able to provide our requested compliance details.
