    Events Marketing Director – London

    Basic Salary to £100k (depending on experience) + Bonus & Strong Benefits

    Hybrid – 2-3 days in the Central London office

    *You must have 10+ years' Events Marketing experience (B2B) and have led teams of 5+ to be considered.*

    About the Role

    We're looking for a strategic marketing leader to drive paid attendance across a portfolio of market-leading international events (mainly large B2B Conferences). This is your chance to shape event brands, create campaigns that convert, and lead a talented team of six event marketing professionals.

    You'll own the entire marketing strategy—from positioning and pricing to integrated campaigns that fill venues with engaged, paying attendees. Working alongside a central marketing operations team, you'll combine creative flair with data-driven rigour to smash commercial targets.

    Essential Experience:

    • 10+ years' progressive marketing experience driving paid attendance at large-scale B2B events, preferably conferences (1,000+ attendees)
    • Proven track record in B2B event marketing
    • Deep expertise in event positioning, brand strategy, pricing, and communications
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into action
    • Outstanding communication and storytelling abilities
    • Experience leading and developing high-performing teams
    • Proficiency with digital marketing platforms, CRM systems, and marketing automation tools

    You're a strategic thinker who thrives under pressure, managing multiple projects whilst keeping your eye on the bigger picture. You're creative yet analytical, persuasive yet collaborative. You understand the magic of live experiences and know how to translate that into marketing gold.

    What You'll Do:

    Strategy & Brand


    • Develop and execute end-to-end marketing strategies that align with commercial goals


    • Define compelling value propositions and positioning that cut through the noise


    • Build and protect brand identities that create emotional connections with audiences


    • Craft pricing strategies that maximise yield whilst driving conversions

    Campaigns & Performance


    • Lead integrated campaigns across digital, PR, content, email, and partnerships


    • Set ambitious KPIs and use real-time analytics to optimise performance


    • Map and enhance the customer journey from awareness to advocacy


    • Create persuasive content and storytelling that builds anticipation and drives purchase intent

    Leadership & Collaboration


    • Manage and mentor a team including Marketing Managers, an Email Marketing Specialist, and Designers


    • Partner with event production, sales, finance, and operations teams


    • Commission audience research to uncover insights that inform strategy


    • Manage budgets effectively to deliver maximum ROI
