Position:
Electrical Apprentice/Improver
As an Electrical Apprentice/Improver, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced electricians and gain hands-on experience in various aspects of electrical installations and maintenance.
You will be involved in a wide range of projects, including domestic, commercial, solar PV, battery storage, and EV charger installations, providing you with valuable exposure to cutting-edge technologies and industry best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Assist qualified electricians in installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in domestic and commercial settings.
- Participate in solar PV panel installations, battery storage systems, and EV charger setups to help promote sustainable energy solutions.
- Learn to interpret electrical drawings and technical diagrams to execute projects accurately.
- Safely handle tools, equipment, and materials while adhering to industry safety standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot electrical issues and implement effective solutions.
- Continuously improve your technical skills and knowledge by actively participating in training sessions and onthejob learning opportunities.
Requirements:
- Enthusiasm for the electrical trade and a strong desire to pursue a career in the industry.
- Basic understanding of electrical principles and wiring techniques (previous experience is a plus).
- A willingness to work in diverse environments, including domestic and commercial settings.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to follow instructions.
- Excellent communication skills and a cooperative attitude to work effectively in a team.
- A valid UK driving license is desirable but not mandatory.
