We are on the hunt for superstar part time Studio Coordinator to join our new BEYOND pilates studio right in the heart of Canary Wharf.


As a Fitness Studio Coordinator (SC), you live your power by supporting the world class
Beyond Pilates experience including coordinating studio operations and holding the studio to the highest health and safety standards.

In alignment with our Core Values, you work alongside the Studio Manager to deliver results and sustained growth towards all current company and studio-level goals.

The SC role is a part time, entry level management position which will allow you to learn the business and develop the skillset to operate a studio.


Studio Presence and Guiding the Member Experience

  • Act as an ambassador of the
    Beyond Core Values at all times and consistently inspire these values in others
  • Support the Studio Manager in achieving company and studio level goals, including membership growth, member retention, retail sales and community outreach
  • Commit to 10 hours instudio per week of operations coordination and teaching, to include health and safety protocol execution.
  • Must be flexible with schedule availability within the hourly commitment in service of the studio and team
  • Serve as the studiolevel point of contact for members and staff if/when Studio Manager is not present
  • Support maintaining an appropriate level of studio supply inventory so that all provisions and amenities are available for members at all times including cleanliness inventory, locker room amenities, towels, programming materials, etc.
  • Consistently engage and know your studio community; greet members by name, serve as an ambassador of Beyond Pilates both inside and outside of the studio, and spend quality time at the front desk fostering community

Coordinate and Execute Health, Safety and Cleanliness Protocol in the Studio

  • Uphold high standards for the studio and when on duty, ensure that the physical studio space meets the high Beyond standards of cleanliness and functionality including a pristine and safe environment, optimum heat and humidity, inspiring music, and clean and clutterfree surroundings in all areas of the studio
  • Coordinate and hold full studio team and members accountable to studio zone capacities. Assist the Studio Manager in staffing appropriately to maintain current capacity standards
  • Lead the team in managing member retention including running events, incentives and following up no shows/non visits
  • Train new studio instructors on cleanliness protocol and role expectations

Coordinate Studio Systems

  • Act as a liaison between the Studio Manager and the teaching teams in training, communicating, and coordinating studio operational systems including but not limited to:
  • Point of Sales System (POS); understand and efficiently navigate POS to sign students in, sell packages and memberships, and explore and correct problems with student accounts when at the desk
  • Online Reservation System; support administrative follow up of late cancel fees, waitlist, student support, etc.
  • Subbing Application; support training and usage for teaching team

Teaching Schedule

  • Support the studio class schedule by teaching a minimum of 1012 classes per week of aligned Beyond Pilates classes and support the studio through subbing additional classes as needed

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
-
Min of 4 years fitness industry experience, ideally teaching classes:

  • Must demonstrate Beyond Values; Attitude of Gratitude, Team Player, Live our Mission, and Delivers Results
  • Excellent oral communication skills, professionalism and exceptional interpersonal skills are required
  • Experience in Customer Service required
  • Completion of a pilates qualification is desirable but not essential, full Beyond method training will be given to successful applicant
  • Familiar and comfortable in studio systems such as mind body Xplor
  • Ability to build relationships with individuals with diverse personalities and styles and at different levels of seniority
  • Thrives in a fastpaced environment and can prioritise while working under multiple deadlines
  • Proven selfstarter with ability to take on new projects with enthusiasm
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel
  • Excellent Time Management skills
  • Ability to take initiative and prioritise

THE FINE PRINT

  • Commit to 20 hours in studio per week (including teaching, operations admin, and studio coordination)
  • Availability must match the needs of the business and leadership zigzag schedules morning, evening, weekend and some holiday availability and flexibility required
