Reservations Supervisor - Clayton Hotel Cardiff**
We have a fantastic new vacancy for Reservations Supervisor the excellent Clayton Hotel Cardiff.

Objective of the Role
Reporting to the Reservations Manager, the Reservations Supervisor will be the first point of contact for our guests. It is of utmost importance that the reservations department present a friendly and professional manner at all times. As a Reservations Supervisor, you will act as the main point of contact for guest's bookings for bedrooms.

Achieve maximum occupancy and average rate by utilizing yield management.
Achieve maximum occupancy and revenue for conference space.
Greet guests over the phone in a friendly and professional manner.
Record reservation information accurately, identify and record group and transient business codes.
Inform other departments of VIP arrivals.
Identify commissionable reservations and secure required information.
Record and process deposit information.
Identify and record special billing instructions, approve credit after consultation with the Reservations Manager.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Manage Guests reservations, ensuring that their needs and wants are met to the highest standard.
Give details of hotel facilities and pricing information.
Upsell other areas of the hotel or other properties in the group.
Ensure expectations are set correctly, in advance of the guest's stay.

Requirements:

12 years experience in a similar role with a Reservations System, Opera would be an advantage.
Excellent customer care skills.
Excellent command of the English language both written and oral is essential.
Ability to cope well under pressure.
Highly motivated, and a team player.
