Trainee Instructor

Our trainee instructors play a key role in the operation of Thorpe Woodlands and provide a great opportunity to gain some valuable experience in the outdoor industry while completing training and qualifications.

The Trainee Instructors main job is to support the delivery of outdoor and adventurous activities and to assist with duties relating to this.

We aim to ensure that our trainees continuously learn and develop.

By the end of the year we would like all trainees to have the competence and confidence to join the full-time instructor team at Thorpe Woodlands.

Hours of Work
Usually Mon-Fri staying on-site, but this is flexible averaging 30 hours per week

Pay
£9.50 per hour x 30 hours per week. In addition to this you will receive accommodation, training, qualificiations and meals when working with a residential group.

Requirements:

Must be at least 18 or approaching 18th birthday

Must be willing to work flexibly and to undertake a wide range ofactivities/duties

Must be physically fit and active

Having access to own transport would be an advantage

Must enjoy working outdoors with children and young people

Job Types:
Full-time, Fixed term contract

Contract length: 11 months
