Description
1- Provide an effective and efficient administration to HMP Edinburgh.

Duties include accurate data input, basic financial reconciliation, collation of compensation claims information, relief Mail cover and general admin support- Responsibilities- 1- To carry out the PPC function in accordance with the relevant policies and procedures.

Collection and accurate recording on PR2 all monies received via mail or bankline. Closing financial accounts of those due to be liberated.

Providing reconciled reports- 1- To update the prisoner phone system with requested phone numbers, ensuring validity of legal numbers, accurately crediting accounts with requested funds and answering any queries.- 1- To accurately deduct from prisoners' personal funds sundry requests, reconciling on delivery to supplier invoices- 1- To collate requested information for any claims submitted by prisoners for lost or damaged items prior a panel hearing.- 1- To provide relief cover for Mail or Wages assistant- 1- General admin support, where required.
Person Specification- Qualification Requirements- 1- 2 National 5 at Grade C or above (including English & Maths) or equivalent qualifications or at least a minimum of 6 months relevant admin experience.

  • Knowledge, Skills and Experience Requirements 1Competent & experienced in all aspects of administration, including use of Microsoft packages.
