Come and join the SGS Heating & Electrical team; we have a vacancy for an accounts assistant to join our friendly, energetic team.
This role is based in our Salisbury office assisting our accounts department.Responsibilities will include:
- Process and maintain the Sales LedgerMaintain accurate detail of customer information within Sage and current CRM system
Credit Control and debtor management.
- Process and maintain the Purchase LedgerEntering supplier invoices
Produce a weekly report of invoices cleared for payment
Performing monthly supplier statement reconciliations
Maintain accurate detail of supplier information within Sage and current CRM system
- Assist the finance team as and when necessary with other finance related work.
- Build relationships with colleagues in all areas of the business and assist where needed.
Requirements:
- Experience with Sage preferred but not essential as full training is given
- Ability to work on own initiative and as an effective team member
- Fully IT literate, including basic excel skills
- Numerate, accurate with the ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to prioritise and manage workloads
- Strong organisation and administration skills with good attention to detail
- Selfmotivated and flexible with the ability to work in a busy environment
- Confident telephone manner is essential
Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 40 per week
Salary:
£22,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Salisbury, SP1 2NB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Accounting: 1 year (preferred)
