This is a 12 month fixed term role.


Role Summary:


Manage daily and weekly planning in the ERP system to ensure production is planned for optimal performance and to meet business and customer demands.

Provide office and administrative support to production team; preparing and communicating works order instructions in a timely manner.

Control and maintain accurate stock figures for all product on site.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Have an overview of the Works Order process and monitor execution accuracy liaising with operational management teams to drive improvements through their teams
  • Control communication of works order requirements to production team
  • Close jobs on the ERP system once complete ensuring full traceability of stock and packaging is maintained and information captured is accurate for invoicing
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of the production process focus on goods required in the production phase
  • Take full responsibility for the day to day management for live stock
  • Organise and manage stock check cycles to deliver customer requirements and meet business needs
  • Work closely with all other departments within the supply chain to ensure that the overall production process runs smoothly
  • Monitor and investigate if stock movements within the production team are recorded accurately on the ERP system
  • Coordinate the training and development of key team members and support other teams in supply chain where necessary
  • Develop a production plan detailing all jobs and schedule each line to meet service requirements and reduce costs
  • Oversee many different processes and departments in the supply chain to ensure that the entire process runs smoothly
  • Work and communicate with customers to enable stock arrivals / quality issues / job types are built into the production plan
  • Provide full and regular communication to the business relating to volume planning and actual orders to ensure understanding of impacts to the plan
  • Maintain all relevant documentation accurately and complete in a timely manner to allow for the efficient operation of the site
  • Coordinate and control production workflow for multiple products
  • Assist with traceability exercises for audits
  • Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay, ensuring a refined / final production plan is in place for following day, taking internal and external factors into account

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A good standard of education including Maths and English at GCSE level or equivalent relevant qualifications
  • Previous experience of working in a busy office environment
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of MS Office including Excel and Word
  • Knowledge and understanding of providing high quality and accurate administrative processes and procedures
  • Ability to make confident and effective decisions
  • Excellent attention to detail and Effective planning skills
  • Ability to work to challenging deadlines in a pressurised environment accurately and quickly
  • Be adaptable and flexible in approach to work
